He is the author of a book called "Remnants of a Haunted Past". In his book and in his photos, he captures the grandeur, the horrors and tragedy that the walls of the forts and castles along the Ghana coastline hold to this day.
To him, all this is about raising awareness. Educating and reminding the world of the history and the legacy that they represent: their engagement in the transatlantic slave trade and the terrible human suffering of so many Africans and people of African descent.
Hoping these photographs will start deep conversations between Africans and descendants in the diaspora, and help nurture the process of reconnection and healing.
